Sen. Brown Not Running for President in 2020

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Senator Sherrod Brown will not be running for President in 2020.

Brown posted on his official Twitter page that he will not run, and instead will be working to help elect candidates from the Democratic Party in both the White House and the Senate.

The senator also said he would be continuing his Dignity of Work tour across the country to promote his message of worker's rights.

Brown said he had no plans at this time to endorse any of the current candidates in the Democratic primary and would turn down an offer to join a ticket as a running mate.
