COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--One person was killed when a twin-engine Cessna 421 airplane, en route from Dayton to Delaware, crashed in Union County Sunday night.
Authorities say the plane crashed into heavy snow coming to a forced landing west of U.S. 42 and then skipped across the roadway hitting several electric poles.
AEP reported several thousand customers in Plain City lost power as a result of the crashed utility poles.
The National Transportation Safety Board were on the scene and said they had taken over the investigation with plans to release the pilots' names following notification of next of kin.
