State Rep. Sedrick Denson Cited for OVI in I-670 Traffic Stop

COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--State Representative Sedrick Denson is facing multiple charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated, after being pulled over on I-670.

Denson was stopped last Friday by an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper for speeding and a marked lanes violation.

During the traffic stop, Denson refused to submit to a breathalyzer test and was found with Adderall, an amphetamine usually prescribed to those with ADHD, which the lawmaker said did not belong to him.

Denson is scheduled to appear in court sometime Tuesday to answer charges of OVI, failure to reinstate his driver's license, and drug possession.
