COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--After over a week off, the Columbus Blue Jackets finally have an opponent for the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The CBJ will take on the Boston Bruins, with Boston beating Toronto 5-1 Tuesday to take that series in 7 games.
Game one between the Jackets and Bruins is Thursday night in Boston, with the Bruins also hosting game 2 on Saturday.
The Blue Jackets will at minimum host games three and four, and those dates and times are based on the outcome of the series between the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes. Game 7 of that series is tonight in DC.
If the Capitals win, Game 3 is Monday at Nationwide Arena, and Game 4 is Thursday. If Carolina wins, Game 3 will be Tuesday, and Game 4 is Thursday.
The Jackets have been off since last Tuesday, after they completed a four-game sweep of the top-seeded Tampa Bay Lightning.
