CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WTVN)--A small plane crashed near Chillicothe Saturday afternoon, killing the elderly pilot.
Witnesses say the plane was flying over a track meet at Southeastern high School Saturday afternoon, when it went down in a nearby wooded area.
The State Highway patrol responded, and found the crash scene, where 90-year-old Glenn Holloway of Waverly was found dead.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what caused the crash. The Ross County Coroner is handling the death investigation.
