3-month-old Girl's Death in January Ruled Homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--nearly six months after an infant's death, Columbus Police say the death was the result of a homicide.

Officers responded to Nationwide Children's Hospital on January 22nd, on a report of a three-month-old girl being transported in critical condition.

Annalise Murphy died in January 24th. Investigators began looking into the cause of death, and just last week, the the Franklin County Coroner ruled that it was a homicide.

So far, there are no arrests in the case, and it is now considered Columbus's 57th homicide of 2019.
