COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus's economic development agency has changed it's name, from Columbus 2020.
The agency is now known as "One Columbus". The group represents the 11-county central Ohio region, with the goal now of making the area the most prosperous region in the United States.
Columbus 2020 was originally named in 2010, with the goal of adding hundreds of thousands of jobs to the region by 2020. Since 2011, the area has added nearly 200,000 jobs.
The agency has been involved in over $8-billion in investments over the last eight years. per capita income in the region has also increased by about 30%
