Pike County Murder Suspect Found in Violation of Gag Order

WAVERLY, Ohio (WTVN)--One of the defendants in the Pike County murders has been found in violation of a gag order.

A judge in Pike County Monday ordered Angela Wagner's phone and mail privileges taken away while behind bars, for contacting her mother, Rita Newcomb, 20 times in June and July.

Wagner was earlier ordered not to discuss the case with her family.

Wagner, her husband, and two sons are facing aggravated murder charges for the deaths of eight members of the Rhoden family in April 2016.

Two other family members were originally charged in connection to the murders.
