Waffle House Near OSU Campus Robbed

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police say a suspect robbed the Waffle House near the OSU campus early Tuesday morning.

Officers say the suspect entered the restaurant around 1:30AM, and approached the counter and waited until customers left, before he put on a pair of gloves, pulled out a handgun, and demanded employees open the register and give him the cash.

They complied, and the suspect fled through the back door on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 25 and 35 years old, 5' 6", skinny, with short hair, a dark complexion, and wearing baggy all-black clothing.

The gun was described as a large black revolver, similar to "Dirty Harry's" gun.
