COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--An aggravated robbery near the OSU campus over the weekend prompted police to issue a safety alert for students.
Officers say the victim was walking in the alley near East Norwich Street early Saturday afternoon, when a van pulled up behind them, and a man inside ordered them into the vehicle, at gunpoint.
The victim was then pistol-whipped and robbed of their property, and was left near the intersection of East Long Street and Champion Avenue.
The primary suspect is described as wearing a ski mask and having dreadlocks. The driver was described as having cream colored dreadlocks.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Columbus Police.
