Same Suspect Robs Store Three Times in Last Two Weeks

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police say the same suspect has robbed the same store on the East side three times in the last two weeks.

The robberies have occurred at the Metro PCS store on East Main Street, and began on November 26th. The most recent incident happened on Wednesday.

In each case, the suspect walked in through the front door and directly went behind the counter to take cash from the register. On Wednesday, the employee tried to keep the suspect in the store, by standing in the doorway. That's when the suspect maced the employee, and fled on foot along South Napoleon Avenue.

On December 4th, the suspect entered the store and sprayed the employee with mace, but was unable to take any cash. On November 26th, the suspect did take off with cash, after spraying the employee with mace.

The suspect is described as a black female, 18 to 23 years old, 5'5", 135-145 pounds, light complexion, with short unkempt hair, orange-reddish in color, wearing grey sweatpants, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and red and white Jordan tennis shoes.
