Three Dead in House Explosion, Fire on SE Side

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Neighbors reported hearing a series of explosions from a home on Columbus's southeast side Wednesday evening, and that resulted in three people dead.

Columbus Fire crews responded to the scene along Retriever Road around 7:30PM, with smoke and fire through the roof of the home.

Two adults and a young child were found dead in the home. Fiver people in all were living there at the time. The other two residents are children.

Investigators are considering the fire suspicious. Arson and Homicide investigators are looking into the cause.
