Express closing 91 stores

Express, the American fashion retailer for men and women will start closing 31 of their stores in 20 states by the end of this month.

The company is headquartered in Columbus and Express officials say that declining foot traffic, fast-fashion and online shopping are making the competition stiff.

35 more stores will close at the end of 2021 and another 25 stores will close by 2022.

According to NBC TODAY show the stores that are closing are located in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
