Dublin Man Dies in I-270 Crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A Dublin man has died as a result of a single-car crash early Tuesday morning on the north outerbelt.

The Franklin County Sheriff's office says 38-year-old David Robers was heading east on I-270 just before 4AM, near US 23, when his SUV struck the middle barrier.

The impact caused the vehicle to come to rest in the eastbound lanes, facing west.

Medics pronounced Robers dead at the scene.

The crash prompted the closure of I-270 East on the north side for several hours Tuesday morning, during the busy morning rush hour.

Investigators say there's no indication of alcohol or drugs being a factor.
