Could underage drinking with adult supervision become illegal in Ohio?

The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Behind The Scenes And Menu Tasting

Underage Drinking under adult supervision could possibly be ending - at least that's what a Columbus area state Senator is looking to do.

A bill was introduced by Senator Tina Maharath which would change Ohio's law and ban all drinking by those under the age of 21.

In case you didn't already know under current Ohio law, those younger than 21 are allowed to consume alcohol as long as they are supervised by an adult parent or guardian. The bill would make Ohio's law more like neighboring states of Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania where drinking is banned under 21.

The city of Dublin has already created a total ban on underage drinking after the 2013 death of a teenager who crashed after drinking at an adult hosted party.
