Bond Set For Son of Former Buckeye, Charged in Fatal Crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Bond was set at $25,000 Wednesday for the teenage son of a former Buckeye, who is charged in connection with a fatal crash in October of 2019.

Prosecutors say 18-year-old Kobie Stillwell was driving over 100-miles-an-hour down Morse Road when he struck another vehicle at the intersection of Morse and Sunbury Roads. Three people in all died, including Stillwell's front-seat passenger, 17-year-old JaShawn Scott.

Kobie is charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, following an indictment by a Franklin County grand jury last week. Prosecutors say Stillwell did not have drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the crash.

Two people in the other vehicle also died. Stillwell's bask seat passenger was injured, along with two other passengers in the vehicle that was struck.

Stillwell is the son of former OSU linebacker Obie Stillwell.
