MASON, Ohio (WTVN)--If you ever had the dream of working at Kings Island, but didn't want to make the commute from central Ohio every day, the park now has a solution for you.
Park officials are recruiting potential employees from central Ohio to live in their "One Team Village," a new facility dedicated to offering affordable housing for workers who live at least 25 miles from the park, near Cincinnati.
The village will accommodate up to 400 associates, with housing offered at $65 a week.
Some of the amenities offered include a community room, with a big-screen TV, free wi-fi, a convenience store, 24-7 security, and a community kitchen space.
Those interested in living there must be at least 18 years old, and have a permanent residence at least 25 miles away from the park in Mason.
Kings Island is expected to have one of its busiest seasons in history, with the opening of the park's tallest and fastest roller coaster, Orion, when the park opens for the 2020 season on April 11th.
The park is busy trying to fill about 5,000 positions for the upcoming operating season.
