Governor Orders More Businesses Closed

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Ohio Governor Mike DeWine promised more orders of businesses to close, amid the Coronavirus outbreak, and the latest order came on Monday.

DeWine ordered the closure of all of the state's movie theaters, gyms, fitness centers, rec centers, bowling alleys, indoor waterparks, and indoor trampoline parks.

DeWine's latest order also bans the gathering of groups of 50 or more.

In issuing the order, he urged Ohioans aged 65 and older to stay home, since the elderly are at most risk for complications from the virus if it is contracted.

As of Monday, Ohio reported 50 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with three cases confirmed in Franklin County.
