Governor Orders Closure of Beauty Salons, Barber Shops, Tattoo Parlors

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Governor Mike DeWine's latest order on business closings, due to coronavirus, covers a wide range of health and beauty shops.

On Wednesday, DeWine ordered all hair salons, barber shops, tattoo parlors, and spas to close.

DeWine says many who get sick, likely from coronavirus, don't need to get tested. Those who do mostly just need to stay home and not infect others.

Health officials and hospitals are still urging that only the sickest and most vulnerable get tested for coronavirus.

As of Wednesday, 88 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ohio, including five in Franklin County.
