Curfew Now in Effect in Whitehall

WHITEHALL, Ohio (WTVN)--In connection to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's "stay at home" order regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, the city of Whitehall is now instituting a curfew.

Whitehall Mayor Kim Maggard issued the order on Monday, saying it's in effect from Midnight to 6AM each day, until April 6th.

Maggard says the only exceptions are the ones laid out in page 2 of Governor DeWine's order, with the guidance of Ohio Department of health Director, Dr. Amy Acton.

The only exception in that order is any outdoor activity is not permitted during the curfew hours.

Governor DeWine's "stay at home" order remains in effect through April 6th.
