COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State University Department of Athletics has extended the deadline for football season ticket holders to renew their tickets for the 2020 season.
It was originally set to be done April 30th, but will now continue until May 29th.
The department says it is to offer fans more flexibility, and to offer fans reimbursements if games do not end up being played, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
If there are games that get canceled, fans will have a chance to either get a refund, or get a credit for purchase of a ticket to a future game.
Adjustments will also be made to the seat selection process, with those changes still pending.
The Athletic Department ticket office at the Schottenstein Center remains closed until further notice, but fans can contact them through email, at athletic.tix@osu.edu , via phone at 1-800-GOBUCKS during normal business hours, or via live chat with a representative.
