Tattoo & Massage Parlors in Ohio Can Reopen Friday

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--State officials say tattoo and massage parlors will be allowed to reopen on Friday, under new rules set out during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ohio Lieutenant-Governor Jon Husted says those establishments were not originally addressed under personal services in the rules set out by state health officials.He added the businesses are regulated differently.

Strict rules are in place for the parlors to reopen. Husted also asks customers to respect the employees of the businesses.

He adds many establishment will not reopen on that date, and you should check with the individual business to see if they are opening, and if there are special rules to follow.

Husted says come Friday, 90% of Ohio's economy will be reopened.
