NEW YORK, New York (WTVN)--Sources are telling the New York Post that The Ohio State University has found their new President.

It will be Kristina Johnson, according to reports. Johnson has served as Chancellor of the State University of New York System for the past three years. She previously served as Undersecretary of the US Department of Energy under the Obama administration.

The report states she will begin her new position on September 1st, and she has submitted her resignation to SUNY.

There's been no formal announcement from OSU, as of Wednesday morning, but there is a meeting of the university's Board of Trustees scheduled for Wednesday.

She replaces Dr. Michael Drake, who announced back in November he would retire as OSU president after six years.
