Two Killed in Jackson Township Crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A crash involving a car and two motorcycles Wednesday night in Jackson Township left two people dead.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says an SUV heading south on US 62 near Orders Road attempted to turn left into a private drive just before 11PM Wednesday, when it was struck by two motorcycles.

The driver and passenger on one of the motorcycles, 60-year-old Rickey Ross and 49-year-old Kimberly Ross, both of Columbus, were taken to Grant Hospital with critical injuries, but both later died.

The driver and passenger of the 2nd motorcycle were both treated at the scene and released. There's no indication the driver of the SUV was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
