COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police say a teenager is dead, and four others were injured, in a shooting late Monday evening on the city's east side.
CPD says the shooting was first reported along Channingway Boulevard just after 10PM. Officers found 19-year-old Marquise Hale was found along Fountain View with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead.
Four other victims, all black males, and all ranging in age from 20 to 25, took themselves to the hospital. They are all expected to recover.
CPD considers Hale's death the 56th homicide in the city of Columbus in 2020. Homicide detectives and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers are asking for information on the case.
