COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The US District Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio announced an indictment for nine people, who are accused of running a child sex trafficking operation.
Prosecutors say 69-year-old Larry Porter of Wheelersburg is accused of sexually abusing young boys and girls, with the consent of their parents, in exchange for illegal drugs.
Porter is also accused of producing child pornography involving the victims.Prosecutors also allege Porter would often instruct the parents to sexually abuse their own children, and recorded it to use as blackmail.
Two of Porters daughters, including 39-year-old Crystal porter of Columbus, are accused of tampering with evidence, for burying evidence connected to the operation at his home in March of 2020, after Larry was arrested in Jackson County on local charges.
Larry Porter is charged with conspiring to sex traffic children, attempting to sex traffic children, producing child pornography, and possessing child pornography, among others.
Crystal porter is charged with conspiring to obstruct a child sex trafficking investigation, destroying or removing evidence, and making false statements to law enforcement.
