Three Short North Restaurants Close, Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Three bars and restaurants in the Short North are temporarily closing, after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

The proprietor of the Standard Hall indicated the worker there also had close contact with employees at the Short North Pint House and the Goody Boy. All three restaurants are now closed for deep cleaning.

All employees of the establishments will also be tested for coronavirus before they reopen.

Standard Hall came under fire a few weeks back, when in-person dining resumed, for having large crowds without proper social distancing.

It does not appear the employee had contact with any customers.
