COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A victim of a shooting on Columbus's east side Tuesday ended up getting arrested on outstanding warrants.
Columbus Police responded to the call of someone shot along East Broad Street Just after 3PM. The 14-year-old boy had a gunshot wound on the top of his head.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, and was treated and released, before officers arrested him on outstanding warrants.
The juvenile said he was walking along Ashburton Road when a vehicle drove past him, and the people inside opened fire. The teen said he ran after he heard the first gunshot.
Officers are still investigating. The name of the juvenile was withheld.
