COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--It was a busy night Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning for the Columbus Police Department, with officers responding to three different shootings, leading to two people injured, and one person dead.
It started just before 10PM, with a report of a juvenile female shot along South Wayne Avenue, in the Hilltop, that victim was listed in stable condition.
Then just after 11PM, another call came in about a shooting victim along Plains Boulevard, on the northwest side. There, a female victim was found with a gunshot wound. That victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Finally, just after 1AM Wednesday morning, a male victim was reported shot along Gilbert Street, on the east side. That victim is in stable condition, and police say that stemmed from shots exchanged between multiple groups.
Investigations remain ongoing in all three cases.
