Two FCSO Deputies Shot, Suspects Arrested After Seven-Hour Standoff

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Two Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office are recovering, after getting shot while serving a probate warrant at a home in the Linden area Tuesday morning.

Authorities say it happened along Beulah Road around 8AM, with a female suspect opening fire on the deputies as they were attempting to serve the warrant.

That led to a standoff involving SWAT officers and two suspects, who barricaded themselves in the home.

Sheriff Dallas Baldwin says at one point, one of the suspect tried to escape by going into the roof of the two-story home.

Seven hours after it started, the standoff ended peacefully, with both suspects in custody.

The deputies that were shot are expected to recover.
