COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State University Department of Athletics unveiled a preliminary plan for seating at Ohio Stadium for the 2020 Football season, if it happens with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

It would reduce capacity inside Ohio Stadium to 20%, require masks or facial coverings for all fans and employees, and would prohibit tailgating in the surrounding parking lots, as well as cancel the traditional "Skull Session" with the OSU Marching Band at St. John Arena.

Ohio State will allow football season ticket holders to opt out of their 2020 football season tickets commitment without longevity or eligibility penalty, if they wish.

The Big Ten Conference has already announced a conference-only schedule for this fall for football and other fall sports. That now puts Ohio State's football season opener on September 26th, against Rutgers.
