Four Shootings Under Investigation in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--It was a violent night Monday across the city of Columbus, with police now investigating no less than four separate incidents of shots fired.

All of the incidents occurred between 10PM Monday and 1AM Tuesday.

In one case, officers were on the scene of a homicide along Solera Drive, and heard gunshots not far away. Officers were also shot at while investigating, but did not return fire. There were no further arrests from that scene.

Just before midnight, a 13-year-old boy was found along Taylor Road, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in stable condition.

Elsewhere, an adult male was found shot along E. 26th Avenue. That victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Just before 1AM Tuesday, a home along Edenburg Drive was struck by over 100 bullets. No one was injured there.
