Six More Shootings Reported Across Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--It was another violent night across Columbus Tuesday, with no less than six different reports of shootings.

In all, one person was killed, and a one year-old child was among three people injured. In that instance, the child was injured by broken glass when shots were fired at multiple cars at the Food Mart on Westerville Road, just after 10PM.

Just after 11PM, officers received reports of shots fired along Seymour Avenue, just north of Livingston Avenue. A man was found with a gunshot wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Just before 11:30PM, officers located a 16-year-old female with a gunshot wound along Jermain Drive. That victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Moments later, a 17-year-old male victim showed up at the hospital, after officers received reports of shots fired along McGuffey Road.

Just before 1AM this morning, a duplex along Durbridge Road was hit by gunfire, and a home along Karl Road was reportedly hit by bullets hours later. No one was injured in either of those incidents.
