WHITEHALL, Ohio (WTVN)--Police say a four-year-old girl was taken from her parents' home in Whitehall Wednesday morning, and was tracked down in Indiana before she was safely recovered.
Officers say Andrea Umana was taken by a family members without her parents' knowledge. Indiana State Troopers tracked down the suspect along Interstate 70 in Terre Haute.
The girl was unharmed, and authorities are working to reunite her with her family.
Police are in the process of filing formal charges against the suspect, who has not been named. He has an arrest warrant from an unrelated kidnapping of another child from the State of Indiana.
