COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State University has issued a Public Safety Notice, after a student reported a sexual assault that occurred this week at a dorm on campus.
Police say it happened at Busch House around 9PM Tuesday, with a female student the victim. The incident was reported to police Thursday afternoon. Officers do not have many details on the suspect involved.
OSUPD says the notice is to heighten safety awareness, and does not necessarily reflect an increase in crime, or that a specific crime pattern exists.
Officers also remind students to lock their doors and windows, and to walk with friends and coworkers, especially at night.
