COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Class begin Tuesday at The Ohio State University for the fall semester, but hundreds of students are already facing suspension for violating the university's COVID-19 protocols.
The university issued 228 interim suspensions for students, but some of those have already been cleared.
On Friday, the university sent a notice to students, saying any violation of the coronavirus protocols could lead to a suspension.
The university is asking students to avoid large gatherings, of more than 10 people, along with wearing a mask and social distancing.
The university also warned that student organizations that were found to be involved in large gatherings are subject to a loss of funding or recognition.
