COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A Judge in Franklin County ruled on Tuesday that the Ohio Secretary of State can not limit the number of ballot drop boxes in each county to just one.

The judge called the decision by Frank LaRose arbitrary and unreasonable.

LaRose told the court he cannot add more than one drop-off box per county because, under current state law, ballots must be turned in by mail or directly to the board of elections.

LaRose added he plans to appeal the decision

Early voting in Ohio is set to begin on October 6th, and LaRose says he has already received over one-point-three-million absentee ballot applications.
