Baby Found Safe, Reunited with Mother After AMBER Alert

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A stolen vehicle Tuesday morning on Columbus's northeast side prompted an AMBER alert, with a four-month-old baby in the car. That alert eventually ended with the child safely reunited with his mother.

Around 8:30AM Tuesday, the vehicle was stolen from outside the Kinder Care Learning Center on Tamarack Circle North. Four-month-old Alpha Kamara was in the car at the time.

Just after noon Tuesday, the suspect vehicle was found parked in a neighborhood on Columbus's east side. The child was found resting comfortably in the back seat.

Police responded, and Alpha was reunited with his mother. The child was taken to nationwide Children's Hospital as a precaution.

Police do not yet have any suspects named, or in custody.
