COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Governor Mike DeWine announced the next group of Ohioans eligible to receive a coronavirus vaccine.

On Monday, DeWine outlined phase 1-C and phase 2 of the rollout, which both begin on Thursday.

Phase 1-C includes pregnant women, type-1 diabetics, recipients of bone marrow transplants, and those with ALS.

It also includes law enforcement officers and corrections officers who do not have access to a vaccine through federal means. Only active duty officers are in this group.

Phase 2 of the rollout includes Ohioans age 60 and older.

As for the newly-available Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine, DeWine says those are being sent to independent pharmacies across the state, which have not had vaccines available before.
