BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVN)--Eight men have been charged in connection to the hazing death of a student at Bowling Green State University, from Delaware County.

The Wood County Prosecutor says seven of the eight are students at BGSU, and the charges range from involuntary manslaughter to hazing.

Prosecutor Paul Dodson says some of the men involved also tried to cover-up their involvement in the case.

20-year-old Stone Foltz, a 2019 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, was attending an event for incoming fraternity members at the Pi Kappa Alpha house on the BGSU campus on March 4th, in which he was told to drink a large amount of alcohol.

Foltz was escorted back to his residence that night, but friends later found him unresponsive. He died a short time later.

The fraternity has been expelled from the university.
