COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The family of Stone Foltz, who died after a hazing incident at a fraternity at Bowling Green State University, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit.

The legal action, filed in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, names the Pi Kappa Alpha international fraternity, the now-expelled chapter at BGSU, and ten individuals believed to be directly involved in Foltz's death.

Foltz, a 2019 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, was found unresponsive at his campus residence in March, shortly after attending a fraternity event, in which he was made to drink a large amount of alcohol. An autopsy showed that alcohol poisoning was the cause of death.

Prosecutors in Wood County have criminally charged eight people for the incident, and the university expelled the frat from campus.
