COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The new home of the Columbus Crew downtown now has a name.
The team announced Tuesday they entered into an agreement with Lower, which includes naming rights, to name the stadium lower.com Field.
Founded in 2018, the company is based in New Albany, and specializes in financial services for housing, including buying and refinancing a home.
The team says Lower is also invested in community initiatives with the team.
The first game for Columbus Crew SC at lower.com Field is scheduled for July 3rd, against the New England Revolution. Seating will be at full capacity for that game, and for the rest of the home MLS schedule for the Crew.
The last game for the team at their current stadium is this Saturday, June 19th.
