COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Investigators say an accidental shooting led to an 11-year-old boy getting injured over the weekend.
Police responded to the call along Forest Hills Boulevard just after 8:30PM Sunday, where the boy was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the stomach.
He was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital and rushed into surgery, and is in stable condition.
Investigators spoke to the 14-year-old suspect, who said he and the victim are related, and they were looking at his father's handgun when the firearm accidentally discharged.
So far no charges have been filed.
