WHITEHALL, Ohio (WTVN)--Police in Whitehall arrested a robbery suspect, who confessed to two-dozen different robberies around the Columbus area.

Officers asked for help in identifying the suspect, who would often approach cashiers at stores and restaurants, and either show a knife or imply he had a gun. The robber would then typically jump the counter and take the money out of the register.

23-year-old Marquan Howard of Columbus was identified as the suspect, and he was taken into custody on October 14th without further incident.

Police say Howard either admitted to, or is linked through evidence to 24 different robberies in Franklin County, Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, Columbus, Groveport, and Westerville.
