Ohio State Moves Up to #4 in College Football Playoff Poll

UNDATED, (WTVN)--The Ohio State Buckeyes are now in a position to make the College Football Playoff.

The latest poll to determine the top four teams that will play for the national championship at the end of the season has the Buckeyes at #4, moving up a spot following Michigan State's loss to Purdue on Saturday.

Ohio State came away with a 26-17 win at Nebraska on Saturday.

Georgia remains #1, followed by Alabama, then Oregon at #3.

All three of Ohio State's remaining opponents are in the CFP top 25, and two of them are in the top 10. The Buckeyes host Purdue this Saturday, who is ranked #19, then OSU hosts Michigan State, who is #7.

The Wolverines are 6th in this week's poll, with Ohio State traveling to Ann Arbor on November 27th.
