COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--More COVID-19 issues in the National Hockey League have affected the Columbus Blue Jackets schedule again.
On Sunday, the team announced their game scheduled for Tuesday in Chicago, against the Blackhawks, has been postponed. A make-up date has not been announced.
The schedule change now tentatively puts the team's return from the winter break on Thursday, when the Jackets host Nashville.
The CBJ are now up to five games that will need to be made up on the schedule. The last time they hit the ice was December 16th, a 5-2 loss in Edmonton.
Earlier, the NHL announced the players will not be participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, over COVID-19 concerns.
