COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies shot and killed a double-murder suspect, who was confronted at a gas station on the northeast side on Tuesday.
Investigators say the suspect was being monitored at a gas station at the corner of Stelzer and Agler roads, and was approached while wearing a mask, and carrying a gun.
Deputies shot and killed the suspect, who died at the scene just after 7PM.
Law enforcement officials say the suspect was wanted for a double-homicide on the city's west side, from May 31st. A weapon was also recovered from the suspect.
There's no word yet of any body cam footage available from the incident, since Sheriff's deputies will not be required to wear them until later this summer.
