DELAWARE, Ohio (WTVN)--The Deputies from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, who responded to a man shooting at passing cars along I-71 back in March, will not be indicted for their actions.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost says a grand jury returned a "no bill" for the officers involved.

Jonathan Myers got out of his car along I-71 near Polaris Parkway on March 11th, and began shooting at other vehicles.

Three officers, responded and shot at Myers, who was injured in the leg.

The Ohio BCI was asked to investigate the officers' actions, who gave their results to a special prosecutor for the grand jury to consider.

Myers was taken into custody, and is now facing dozens of charges, including attempted murder. He has attempted to claim insanity in his defense.
