John Roush is an Ohio-based car wash operator and commercial retail development executive with more than 25 years of experience in retail, commercial and residential projects. Throughout his career, Roush has developed, site-selected and built more than 35 express tunnel car washes.

As Founder of Moo Moo Express Car Wash, Roush was responsible for the research, planning, branding and development of the award-winning car wash chain. Under his leadership, Moo Moo has grown to 20 Central Ohio locations since 2008. Roush is also the Co-founder of Flying Ace Express Car Wash, with a portfolio of nine washes in the Greater Dayton Area, and Greater Cleveland’s CLEan Express Auto Wash, which currently operates six locations.

Roush currently serves as the CEO of Express Wash Concepts, the parent company of Moo Moo Express, Flying Ace Express, Clean Express Auto Wash, Toledo-based Meyers Auto Wash and Virginia-based Green Clean Express Auto Wash. In April, 2018, Roush facilitated a New York-based private equity firm investment with Wildcat Capital Management, the family office of TPG Capital co-founder David Bonderman. The investment has enabled Moo Moo and Flying Ace to continue to build on their success, and further accelerate growth and expansion into new Ohio and East Coast-based markets.

A Central Ohio native, Roush was recently named a 2020 Columbus Business First C-Suite Award honoree, is a 2019 Columbus Chamber Small Business Leader Award Finalist and former International Carwash Association Board Member. An avid supporter of numerous community organizations, Roush has served as a local youth hockey coach and attended The Ohio State University.
