Josiah Myers, CEO and Founder of AIRRIVA

Josiah Myers is an entrepreneur from Columbus, Ohio. He started Airriva in his basement with a single lodging unit in 2016 and it now operates over 600 units and has a pipeline of 700 signed units in 2023. He has helped the company achieve 3x growth year over year since its inception and has helped carry the firm forward as a Business First Fast 50 recognized firm in 2021 and Business CEO Top Places to Work in 2021. Josiah was an EY Entrepreneur of The Year nominee in 2022, has keynoted various national conferences including the BYNY 2021 Bleisure panel and enjoys public speaking at various universities including his alumnus, Ohio University, where he attended in 2011-2015, and earned a bachelors in business pre-law and sales management. Josiah is a founding member of Next-Gen Lodging and serves as its active CEO. After graduating from OU in 2015, Josiah began working for Insight Global, where he worked as a Recruiter in 2015-2016, and then as an Account Manager from 2016-2018. His experience prior to Airriva includes sales, marketing, and leadership. Next-Gen Lodging fuses the tech-driven STR world and the boutique hotel space with its own proprietary technology applications to further the modern lodging experience. Airriva owns, operates and manages multi-family buildings, boutique hotels and vacation rentals in 20 US markets and plans to grow into another 40 in the next three years. Outside of Airriva and Next-Gen, Josiah is a serial entrepreneur participating in various startup ventures, is a real estate partner and owner in various funds, and cofounder of the Caregivershelter Fund which has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for health caregivers, refugees and hurricane victims worldwide since its inception in the spring of 2020. Josiah is also a musician and singer/songwriter in his solo project called Last Youth which recently signed to Universal Studios single label in 2021. He plans to release three singles in the coming months with major billboard artists.
